MD DNR to hold meetings to review data on coastal fish
Friday, January 8, 2016

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is soliciting your feedback on two data products that depict fish presence/habitat and fishing use off Maryland's coast. The data is intended to help regional partners understand what areas may be important in the offshore ocean. We want your feedback to ensure that it accurately characterizes your knowledge.

Two opportunities are available to review the data and provide feedback:
- At the December 9th day of the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council meeting in Annapolis, MD. A flyer is attached.

- On January 14th, MD DNR staff and data representatives from The Nature Conservancy will be at the Ocean Pines Library from 2-5 p.m. - drop in any time during this window to review data and discuss the work.

We hope that you may be able to attend on one of these days. If you are interested in more information or would like to review the data on either of these days, please get in touch with both Catherine McCall [catherine.mccall@maryland.gov or 410.260.8737] and Angel Willey [angel.willey@maryland.gov or 410-456-0311]. Additional details will provided.
