BILL TO BE VOTED ON TO INCREASE MARYLAND FISHING LICENSE FEES BY $10

Bills are being sponsored by Maryland Delegates Richard Colburn and Roy Dyson (House Bill 1241), along with State Senators Jay Jacobs and John Wood (Senate Bill 0525) that would establish a special fund that would be used to finance specified enforcement activities of the Natural Resources Police. It would be funded with by increasing Maryland recreational and commercial fishing licenses by $10.

The State House had the first reading of the bill on February 8th. The Senate is schedule to have a hearing on the bill on March 6th.
