INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 lbs. crab meat
1 medium onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 stick butter
1 large can whole tomatoes
1/2 lb okra, trimmed
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
3 cups cooked rice
DIRECTIONS
In a large stock pot cook the okra, onion and celery in butter until tender.
Add the garlic, tomatoes and spices.
Simmer for one hour.
Add the crab meat.
Serve over rice.
