INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. wasabi paste
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
3 tsp. olive oil
6 tuna steaks, cut in half
2 packages dinner rolls, split
12 large lettuce leaves, cut in half
24 small pineapple rings
48 small red onion slices
DIRECTIONS
For wasabi mayonnaise, whisk mayonnaise, wasabi paste, lemon juice and ginger in a small bowl until smooth and well blended. Set aside.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook tuna 2 minutes per side for medium-rare or until desired doneness is reached.
Cut each piece in half to create 24 pieces.
To assemble, spread wasabi mayo on bottoms of rolls.
Layer with lettuce, tuna, pineapple, onion, and tops of rolls.
