Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body Seeks Public Input from Marylanders via Open Session in Ocean City, Maryland

WHAT: The Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body will hold a Public Listening Session in Ocean City, Maryland. The Session is intended to gather public input on a series of draft documents that outline a range of options for advancing an Ocean Action Plan for the Mid-Atlantic Ocean, an area that includes both state and federal waters off of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

WHO: The Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body (MidA RPB) is made up of representatives from Federal, State, and Tribal authorities and the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council. It was established in 2013 to implement and advance ocean planning in the region by coordinating with stakeholders, scientific, business, and technical experts, and members of the public to identify and address issues of importance to the region. The Ocean City Public Listening Session will be hosted by MARCO1 on behalf of the MidA RPB.
