MD Fishing Licenses Now Good for 365 days

Recreational fishing licenses, stamps and angler registration are now valid 365 days from the date of sale, including the Chesapeake Bay & Coastal Sport Boat License. The decal which normally accompanies the purchase of the Chesapeake Bay & Coastal Sport Boat License will no longer be issued by the tackle stores that sell Maryland Fishing Licenses. The decal will be mailed to the angler from the DNR License and Registration Service within 30 of purchase.

The paper license you receive at the time of purchase will serve as the decal for up to 30 days from the date of sale. Please have the paper license on board while fishing and ready to display to the Natural Resource Police if requested.
