BIG ROCK ANNOUNCES FREE CONCERT!

MOREHEAD CITY, NC- The Big Rock Board of Directors will host country music recording artist James Wesley for a free concert held in downtown Morehead City on Saturday May 30, 2015. Calcutta, Big Rock Tournament’s Major Sponsor, has partnered with James to produce the new single “Hooked Up”, a song about Big Rock fishing.

Wesley, who is an avid fisherman, will be shooting a Nashville music video for the new single while in town at Big Rock’s new weigh station. The video will feature the free concert, Big Rock fishing and the Crystal Coast’s surrounding beauty.
“I just want to invite all my fans to come out to Morehead City”, commented James at Big Rock’s recent media luncheon. “We are going to give the concert of our lives here and help give back to all the terrific charities you guys support”.
The song “HookedUp” is available now on iTunes or linked through CalcuttaFishing.com and TheBigRock.com. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament Foundation and ASA’s Keep America Fishing Foundation.

About James Wesley:

James Wesley signed with Broken Bow Records in 2009 and quickly exploded onto the country music scene with his debut breakout single “Jackson Hole.” To date he has charted three Top 25 singles making his whiskey-smooth voice a staple on country radio. Wesley sings directly to real people about real things that profoundly affect real lives—and from his small-town upbringing to his blue-collar work ethic, he has a deep understanding of what those folks are longing to hear.

About Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament:

Big Rock is a 57-year old big-game fishing tournament and has donated more than $3.3 million dollars to charity since its inception. The one-week charitable tournament is held each year in June and hosted 120 boats in 2014 with a purse of $1.154 million. Participants in this event will fish the waters off Morehead City North Carolina; the $2500 entry fee will offer them 60 ways to win prize money during the six days of fishing, including blue marlin prizes, daily game-fish prizes and release prizes, weekly and daily. A new “Outboard Level” entry has a guaranteed prize of $10,000 for $1000 entry. Junior-angler trophies go to the most billfish-release points, and the largest tuna, dolphin, and wahoo. The Big Rock Lady Angler Tournament, a one-day total release event, targets blues, white, and sailfish.
