PERMITTING: Permits will be valid from the date of issuance through December 31, 2016. So 2016 permits will also be valid for the remainder of 2015 The cost is $20, per permit or $40 for a Tuna/Swordfish combination permit. The system allows constituents to purchase initial, renew preexisting, or obtain permit applications for open access Atlantic Tunas, Swordfish or Atlantic HMS permits for the 2016 season. One item to note is the Atlantic Tunas Longline permit is being issued out of SERO.
